Youth Outreaches In Mexico

 

For mission teams who would like to add one or more Youth Outreaches to their week, they are welcome to do so. There are several options for how many, and when to do them.

 

Following are several options to choose from if you’d like to minister to the youth of Mexico

 

Option 1 - Do One Youth Outreach

This outreach is normally held on Wednesday evening in conjunction with the Church/Community Outreach. If you would like to add this outreach to your schedule then you can have part of your mission team involved in the Youth Outreach and the rest of your team involved in the Vacation Bible School Outreach, or have all of your team involved in the Youth Outreach and don’t do a Vacation Bible School Outreach.

 

Option 2 - Do Two Youth Outreaches Sunday & Wednesday Evenings

These outreaches are normally held on Sunday & Wednesday evenings in conjunction with the Church/Community Outreaches. If you would like to add these outreaches to your schedule then you can have part of your mission team involved in the Youth Outreaches and the rest of your team involved in the Vacation Bible School Outreaches, or have all of your team involved in the Youth Outreaches and don’t do Vacation Bible School Outreaches.

 

Option 3 - Do Two Youth Outreaches Monday & Tuesday Evenings

These outreaches are normally held on Monday & Tuesday evenings. For mission teams who choose this option, they generally don’t do Vacation Bible School Outreaches as it fills up each evening with activities.

 

This is the General Format for the Youth Outreaches

 

1. Icebreakers & games - 20 Min.

2. Music - 15 Min.

3. Testimonies 10 Min. (2-3 Testimonies)

4. Teaching time - 30 Min.

5. Snacks 15 Min.

6. More games if desired 20 Min.

 

It looks somewhat like a youth group meeting, only dressed up a bit. If you wanted to do some drama or etc., you could. The costs for doing this outreach would include providing some snacks and drinks afterward if possible.

 

Generally, there won’t be a lot of teens at these outreaches as churches in our area are smaller in size and the youth of Mexico marry at a much younger age than in the U.S.
